Emissions from Agriculture, Forestry, and Land Use Change (AFOLU) are an often-underreported area for local governments in community inventories. Challenges in accessing sufficient data as well as having limited influence in the AFOLU sectors can act as a barrier to local governments. Despite limitations, communities are beginning to tackle these sectors in inventories and implement initiatives to manage associated emissions. Join ICLEI Canada for a free PCP webinar to hear about how Canadian municipalities are including the AFOLU sectors into emission inventories, climate plans, and innovative local projects!
