The Municipal Climate Change Action Centre in partnership with Alberta Innovates is looking for Alberta municipalities to provide sustainable solutions that move municipalities towards low carbon community scale electricity generation.
This webinar will assist municipalities in identifying potential solution partners and provide facilitation resources to create their proposed network for the Expression of Interest submission due August 9, 2019.
Who should attend:
Municipalities who have completed a letter of intent and been approved to proceed to Stage 2.
Alberta-based Small to Medium Sized Enterprises that have technological or innovative solutions for the generation of low carbon electricity derived from renewable/sustainable sources, development of control systems for such electrical energy storage systems, software, or any other relevant project technological component.
Regional Co-benefit partners - Other municipalities, community related organization, or Indigenous communities who would benefit from installation of a centrally low carbon electricity generated system.
Other network/service provider partners - Partners who could bring other technical, business, or financial expertise or resources to the project. (e.g. consortia, energy regulators, energy generation and distribution partners, entrepreneurs, consultants, legal / environmental experts, post-secondary institutions, private sector / industry, non-profit organizations, associations etc.)
