As part of the MCCAC’s Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP), Kneehill County installed a 31.7 kW solar PV system on the roof of their Administration Building. The project was completed in October 2016.

Six leagues completed building retrofits and installed solar PV arrays to meet their energy needs. The projects are expected to yield cost savings of $8,891/year and GHG reductions of 55 tonnes/year.
