As part of the MCCAC’s Taking Action to Manage Energy (TAME+) program, the Town of Bonnyville completed an energy efficiency retrofit of the Bonnyville and District Centennial Centre. The project was completed in October 2017.

Queen Alexandra Community League Hall Solar PV

City of Edmonton

As part of the MCCAC’s Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP), the Queen Alexandra Community League in Edmonton installed a 7.8 kW solar PV system on the roof of the Queen Alexandra Community League Hall. The project was completed in August 2017.

Medicine Hat Public Library Solar PV

City of Medicine Hat

As part of the MCCAC’s Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP), the City of Medicine Hat installed a 4.5 kW solar PV system on the roof of the Medicine Hat Public Library. The project was completed in October 2016.

Redwater Town Office Retrofit

Town of Redwater

The Town of Redwater completed an energy efficiency retrofit at their Town Office in 2013. After making upgrades to lighting, weatherstripping, and automation system, the project is expected to reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions by 18 tonnes.

County of St. Paul Workshop Retrofit

County of St. Paul

The County of St. Paul completed retrofitted their Public Workshop in 2014. The retrofit included a complete overhaul of the building's mechanical systems, a lighting retrofit, and replacement of all exterior overhead doors. The project is expected to save the County $19,797, 2,629 GJ of energy, and 162 tonnes of emissions annually.

Constructed on unused Alberta Transportation land following the creation of Highway 2, RMA's Administration Building incorporates a wide variety of energy efficient technologies and on-site energy generation through geothermal heating and cooling and solar PV.
