Trina joined the MCCAC in July 2018. She previously served as Chief Sustainability Officer with the University of Alberta where she led the development of the Campus Sustainability Initiative and helped position the university as Canada’s Greenest Employer ten years in a row. Trina is the vice-chair of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. She is a designated director with the Institute of Corporate Directors, holds two masters degrees in business and forestry and post-graduate certificates in both change management and corporate social responsibility.
Program Lead, Renewables
Marc joined the MCCAC in May 2016. He previously worked with the Government of Canada in Western Economic Diversification and the City of Edmonton in Sustainable Development. Marc is a graduate from the University of Alberta's Environmental Studies degree program where he also completed a Certificate in Sustainability. He also holds a LEED® v4 Green Associate accreditation.
Program Lead, Energy Efficiency
Calvin joined the MCCAC in June 2017. He has experience working in the solar photovoltaic industry and holds an Alternative Energy Technology diploma and Project Management Leadership certificate from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). Calvin is also studying part-time in NAIT’s Bachelors of Technology in Technology Management degree program.
Program Coordinator, Energy Efficiency
Torrie joined the MCCAC in November 2018. He has previous experience working in the energy efficiency industry as a Program Coordinator for Reep Green Solutions, a not-for-profit environmental charity located in Kitchener, Ontario. He holds two degrees obtained from the University of Waterloo - a Bachelor of Earth Sciences (B.Sc) with a minor in Geography and Envionrmental Management and a Master of Climate Change (MCC).
