As part of the MCCAC’s Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP), the Town of Black Diamond installed a 5.2 kW solar PV system on the roof of the Scott Seaman Sports Rink. The project was completed in September 2016.
In 2019, the Town of Black Diamond installed an additional 4.3 kW the solar PV system on the roof of the Scott Seaman Sports Rink, bringing the total system size to 9.5 kW.
