The Summer Village of Ma-Me-O Beach retrofitted their Community Hall in 2013. Making the switch to more energy efficient light fixtures, the upgrades included converting all T12 fluorescent tubes to T8s and replacing 100W and 60W incandescent bulbs withLED flood lights and CFLs. All exterior windows were also replaced to reduce air and heat loss. The project will save Ma-Me-O Beach approximately $333, 21 GJ, and 2 tonnes of CO2 each year.
