As part of the MCCAC’s Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP), the Town of Valleyview installed a 38kW solar PV system on the roof of a new affordable housing fourplex. The project was completed in November 2016.

Northern Sunrise County

As part of the MCCAC’s Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP), Northern Sunrise County installed a 20 kW solar PV system on the roof of the St. Isidore Fire Hall. The project was completed in November 2016.

As part of the MCCAC’s Taking Action to Manage Energy (TAME+) program, the Town of Banff completed an energy efficiency retrofit of the Banff Seniors and Parent Link Centre. The project was completed in October, 2016.

As part of the MCCAC’s Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP), the Queen Alexandra Community League in Edmonton installed a 7.8 kW solar PV system on the roof of the Queen Alexandra Community League Hall. The project was completed in August 2017.

Redwater Town Office Retrofit

Town of Redwater

The Town of Redwater completed an energy efficiency retrofit at their Town Office in 2013. After making upgrades to lighting, weatherstripping, and automation system, the project is expected to reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions by 18 tonnes.

County of St. Paul Workshop Retrofit

County of St. Paul

The County of St. Paul completed retrofitted their Public Workshop in 2014. The retrofit included a complete overhaul of the building's mechanical systems, a lighting retrofit, and replacement of all exterior overhead doors. The project is expected to save the County $19,797, 2,629 GJ of energy, and 162 tonnes of emissions annually.

Mackenzie County Climate Resilience Express Pilot

Mackenzie County

Mackenzie County participated in a 1 day workshop with a team of climate resilience experts, led by All One Sky Foundation in collaboration with the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre to pilot the development of the Climate Resilience Express Action Kit.
