As part of the Electric Vehicles for Municipalities program the Town of Okotoks purchased a new fully electric Zamboni 552 AC ice resurfacers. The Town received $50,000 through the EVM Program to help offset the $207,015 project cost.

As part of the Electric Vehicles for Municipalities program the Municipality of Jasper undertook a Feasibility Study to assess the possibility of adding EVs to their fleet, and potential charging locations. The feasibility study was completed by ATCO, and the Town received $5,590 from the Action Centre to help offset a portion of the project cost

Recreation Energy Conservation Program
Town of Vegreville
As part of the Action Centre’s Recreation Energy Conservation Program, the Town of Vegreville has replaced four outdated furnaces with more energy efficient models and smart thermostats. The new furnaces were installed at the Vegreville Aquatic and Fitness Centre and was commissioned in 2023.
