Career Training Education Centre Ground Mount Solar PV System – Village of Myrnam
In 2023, the Village of Myrnam completed construction of their new solar PV installation, a 17.44 kW ground mount solar PV system at the Career Training Education Center.

Town of Diamond Valley – Impacts of Climate on Flood Mitigation Infrastructure
The Town of Diamond Valley completed a project to assess climate impacts on current flood mitigation infrastructure and identify actions to protect the Town from future flooding events.

Town of Taber – Water System Climate Resiliency Project
The Town of Taber completed a Water System Master Plan to assess the Town’s water system and the infrastructure’s resilience to future climate risks.

Ermineskin Cree Nation – Climate Impacts on Overland Flooding
Ermineskin Cree Nation engaged Kerr Wood Leidal Associates to strengthen the Nation’s resilience to future climate-impact rainfall events.

Town of Nanton – Olympia Millennium Model E
As part of the Electric Vehicles for Municipalities program the Town of Nanton purchased new fully electric Olympia Model E ice resurfacer. The Town received a $47,700 rebate for the project to help cover the $159,000.00 purchase price.

Bon Accord Arena – Ice Plant Replacement
As part of the Action Centre’s Recreation Energy Conservation Program, the Town of Bon Accord replaced the existing ice plant at Bon Accord Arena with a new low volume ammonia system. The project was completed in January 2024.

Town of Picture Butte – Olympia Millennium Model E
As part of the Electric Vehicles for Municipalities program, the Town of Picture Butte purchased new fully electric Olympia Millennium Model E ice resurfacer. The Town received a $50,000 rebate for the project.

City of Calgary – Plug-in Hybrid Refuse Truck
As part of the Action Centre’s Electric Vehicles for Municipalities Program, the City of Calgary added a new plug-in hybrid garbage truck to their fleet. The new truck has a hybrid drivetrain that operates the wheels and also uses electricity to operate the hopper.

City of Calgary – Electric Vehicle Fleet
As part of the Action Centre’s Electric Vehicles for Municipalities Program, the City of Calgary replaced 20 aging fleet vehicles as far back as the 2006 model year with the following new electric vehicles. The total project cost was $1.35M and the City of Calgary received $280,000 rebate from the EVM program.

City of Calgary – Six Engo Ice Wolf Electrics
As part of the Action Centre’s Electric Vehicles for Municipalities (EVM) Program, the City of Calgary added four new electric Engo Ice Wolf ice resurfacers to its fleet and received a rebate of $294,338.71.
