  • Valleyview Facility Retrofits

    As part of the MCCAC’s Taking Action to Manage Energy (TAME+) program, the Town of Valleyview completed an energy efficiency retrofit of the Polar Palace Arena, Public Works Building, and Water Treatment Plant. The projects were completed in January 2018.

  • Medicine Hat Public Library Solar PV

    As part of the MCCAC’s Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP), the City of Medicine Hat installed a 4.5 kW solar PV system on the roof of the Medicine Hat Public Library. The project was completed in October 2016.

  • Queen Alexandra Community League Hall Solar PV

    As part of the MCCAC’s Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP), the Queen Alexandra Community League in Edmonton installed a 7.8 kW solar PV system on the roof of the Queen Alexandra Community League Hall. The project was completed in August 2017.

  • Mackenzie County Climate Resilience Express Pilot

    Mackenzie County participated in a 1 day workshop with a team of climate resilience experts, led by All One Sky Foundation in collaboration with the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre to pilot the development of the Climate Resilience Express Action Kit.

  • Bruderheim Climate Resilience Express Pilot

    The Town of Bruderheim participated in a 1 day workshop with a team of climate resilience experts, led by All One Sky Foundation in collaboration with the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre to pilot the development of the Climate Resilience Express Action Kit.

  • Banff Climate Resilience Express Pilot

    The Town of Banff participated in a 1 day workshop with a team of climate resilience experts, led by All One Sky Foundation in collaboration with the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre to pilot the development of the Climate Resilience Express Action Kit.

  • Canmore Climate Resilience Express Pilot

    The Town of Canmore participated in a 2 day workshop with a team of climate resilience experts, led by All One Sky Foundation in collaboration with the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre to pilot the development of the Climate Resilience Express Action Kit.

  • Turner Valley / Black Diamond Climate Resilience Express Pilot

    The Towns of Turner Valley and Black Diamond partnered to participate in a 1 day workshop with a team of climate resilience experts, led by All One Sky Foundation in collaboration with the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre to pilot the development of the Climate Resilience Express Action Kit.

  • Edmonton Community League Retrofits

    Community Leagues across the City of Edmonton are tapping into the power of the sun and green energy savings. Six leagues completed building retrofits and installed solar PV arrays to meet their energy needs. The projects are expected to yield cost savings of $8,891/year and GHG reductions of 55 tonnes/year.

  • Starland Solar Initiative

    Starland County collaborated with partners and suppliers to encourage community adoption of renewable energy by provided residents with an installation incentive for solar projects.The incentive was supported by the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre and Bullfrog Power.
