As part of the MCCAC’s Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP), the Town of Valleyview installed a 38 kW solar PV system on the roof of a new affordable housing fourplex. The project was completed in November 2016. The solar system will generate power to offset each tenant’s energy consumption, helping to lower their utility bills.
