Alberta Municipal Solar Program Round 2

The Alberta Municipal Solar Program has been very successful since its launch in 2016, and all available funding is currently fully allocated. New applications are no longer being accepted.

Applications with signed funding agreements will continue to be processed and will receive payments upon project completion. If you have questions about the status of your application, review the Frequently Asked Questions or contact our team at contact@mccac.ca.

Who participated

Funding was allocated on a first-come, first-served basis based on the submission of completed applications. Sign up for our newsletter to stay up-to-date on available funding.

Expressions of Interest are non-committal and do not guarantee any funding through the program. The Alberta Municipal Solar Program is no longer accepting applications because all funding has been fully allocated. Funding was allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to projects which submitted complete applications. Projects which have submitted Expressions of Interest will be notified directly if the program begins accepting applications again.
