  • Municipality of Jasper – Ford E-Transit  

    As part of the Electric Vehicle for Municipalities Program (EVM) the Municipality of Jasper has purchased a new fully electric Ford E-Transit. The E-Transit will be used throughout the Municipality and has a range of roughly 200 kilometres. The Municipality received a $14,000 grant through the EVM Program to help offset the purchase cost.

  • County of Red Deer – Mitsubishi Outlanders 

    As part of the Electric Vehicle for Municipalities Program (EVM) the County of Red Deer has added two new plug-in hybrid Mitsubishi Outlanders to their fleet. The two PHEVs will be used by Protective Services within the County. The County received $28,000 in total for the two new vehicles.

  • Town of Coronation – EV Charging Stations 

    As part of the Electric Vehicle Charging Program (EVCP), the Town of Coronation now has six new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, at two locations within the Town.  

  • Town of Legal – EV Charging Stations 

    As part of the Electric Vehicle Charging Program (EVCP), the Town of Legal now has three new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, at three different locations within the Town.  

  • Village of Glenwood – EV Charging Stations 

    As part of the Electric Vehicle Charging Program (EVCP), the Village of Glenwood now has two new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations (4 plugs), at the Glenwood Municipal Library and Office.

  • City of St. Albert – EV Charging Stations 

    As part of the Electric Vehicle Charging Program (EVCP), the City of St. Albert now has ten new level 2 electric vehicle charging stations. Each of the EV charging stations has two plugs that can be used simultaneously and are located at located at four different locations throughout the City.   

  • Town of Westlock – EV Charging Stations 

    As part of the Electric Vehicle Charging Program (EVCP), the Town of Westlock now as three new electric vehicle charging stations.  Two of the stations are level 2 chargers with 2 plugs each, and one station is a level three charger with 2 plugs. The three stations are at three different locations.  

  • Village of Warner – EV Charging Stations 

    As part of the Electric Vehicle Charging Program (EVCP), the Village of Warner now has two new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations (3 plugs), at two different locations.  

  • Samson Cree Nation – Climate Change Action Plan  

    Through in-depth community engagement, Samson Cree Nation completed a Climate Change Action Plan to outline strategies to establish a more climate resilient water system. The project was funded by $80,000 in grant proceeds from the Government of Alberta, through the Municipal Climate Action Centre’s Climate Resilience Capacity Building Program.

  • Town of Athabasca – Climate Vulnerability and Risk Assessment & Adaptation and Resiliency Plan  

    The Town of Athabasca completed Climate Vulnerability and Risk Assessment to understand climate risks and identify adaptation actions to build resilience across Town assets including water, facilities, wastewater, roads, stormwater, parks, solid waste, and fleet.

  • Town of Picture Butte Electric Vehicle Chargers 

    As part of the MCCAC’s Electric Vehicle Charging Program (EVCP), the Town of Picture Butte installed electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the following facility for public use. These are the first EV charging stations to be installed in the town.

  • Town of Slave Lake Electric Vehicle Chargers 

    As part of the MCCAC’s Electric Vehicle Charging Program (EVCP), the Town of Slave Lake installed electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the following facility for public use. These are the additional EV charging stations to be installed in the town.
