City of Brooks
As part of the Electric Vehicles for Municipalities program the City of Brooks purchased a new fully electric Zamboni 650 Electric ice resurfacer. The City received a $50,000 rebate from the MCCAC to help cover the roughly $196,130 purchase price.

s part of the Electric Vehicles for Municipalities program the Town of Legal purchased a new fully electric Zamboni 450 Electric ice resurfacer. The Town received a $50,000 rebate from the MCCAC to help cover the roughly $167,450 purchase price.
Climate Resilience Capacity Building Program
Town of Lamont
Through in-depth staff training and engagement, the Town of Lamont completed a Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience Plan to better understand and manage climate risks.
Electric Vehicles for Municipalities Program
Town of St. Paul
As part of the Electric Vehicles for Municipalities program the Town of St. Paul purchased a new fully electric Olympia Model E ice resurfacer. The Town received a $50,000 rebate from the MCCAC to help cover the roughly $178,500 purchase price.

As part of the Electric Vehicles for Municipalities program the Town of Okotoks purchased two new Olympia Millennium Model E electric ice resurfacers. The Town received $100,000 through the EVM Program to help offset the $333,950.00 project cost.

The Town of Bruderheim as part of the Resilient Rurals collaborative partnership completed a project to explore resilient food systems through the lens of food sovereignty and cross-cultural collaboration.

The Town of Devon completed a Climate Risk Assessment & Adaptation Plan to understand future climate impacts on the natural environment, the built environment, the local economy, and the health and wellbeing of residents and visitors.

Town of Stony Plain
As part of the Electric Vehicles for Municipalities program the Town of Stony Plain purchased and received a $28,000.00 rebate to help cover the $99,074.00 cost for two new Kia Niro EVs. These are the first fully electric vehicles that the Town will own and operate.

As part of the Electric Vehicles for Municipalities program the Town of Hinton undertook a Feasibility Study to assess the possibility of adding EVs to their fleet, and potential charging locations.
Recreation Energy Conservation Program
Town of Vegreville
As part of the Action Centre’s Recreation Energy Conservation Program, the Town of Vegreville has replaced four outdated furnaces with more energy efficient models and smart thermostats. The new furnaces were installed at the Vegreville Aquatic and Fitness Centre and was commissioned in 2023.
