Town of Black Diamond
As part of the MCCAC’s Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP), the Town of Black Diamond installed a 5.2 kW solar PV system on the roof of the Scott Seaman Sports Rink. The project was completed in September 2016.

As part of the MCCAC’s Taking Action to Manage Energy (TAME+) program, the Town of Falher completed an energy efficiency retrofit of the Falher Regional Complex. The project was completed in October, 2016.

Alberta Municipal Solar Program
Town of Valleyview
As part of the MCCAC’s Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP), the Town of Valleyview installed a 38kW solar PV system on the roof of a new affordable housing fourplex. The project was completed in November 2016.

The Town of Redwater completed an energy efficiency retrofit at their Town Office in 2013. After making upgrades to lighting, weatherstripping, and automation system, the project is expected to reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions by 18 tonnes.

The Town of Canmore participated in a 2 day workshop with a team of climate resilience experts, led by All One Sky Foundation in collaboration with the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre to pilot the development of the Climate Resilience Express Action Kit.
