City of Medicine Hat – Environmental Framework
The City of Medicine Hat received $80,000 in grant proceeds for the completion of a climate risk assessment as part of the development of their Environmental Framework. The project was funded in part by the Government of Alberta, through the Climate Resilience Capacity Building Program administered by the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre.

Tribal Chiefs Ventures Inc. completed in-depth community engagement across six member First Nations to understand lived experiences of climate change and the impacts of wildfires, reduced water levels, and loss of traditional medicines and cultural practices.

Town of High River – Climate Change Adaptation Action Plan
Through in-depth community and stakeholder engagement, the Town of High River completed a Climate Change Adaptation Action Plan, with adaptation measures to address extreme heat, drought, high water events, and wildfire and build overall community resilience.

Willow Lake Métis Nation – Community Climate Risk Assessment and Report
Willow Lake Métis Nation completed a climate risk assessment to better understand climate risks in the region and ensure newly purchased lands for bison habitat, residential use, and a Heritage Centre remain resilient in the face of climate change.
